OH MY GOSH, I'M OBSESSED WITH THIS SHOW!!! IT'S LIKE, THE WITTY BANTER BETWEEN THOSE TWO GUYS IS KILLING ME 
AND THE WAY THEY INTERUPT EACH OTHER IS JUST SO CLEVER 
I love how the writers have woven in all these cool Easter eggs, like that Karl Marx thingy... it's like they're winking at us, saying "hey, we know this is just a silly show, but check out this cool reference!" 
AND THE WAY THEY PLAY WITH THE TROPES OF VAMPIRE HUNTING IS JUST GENIUS 
I don't think it's scary at all, per se... more like, it's just so delightfully weird and silly that you can't help but be drawn in
