‘The Masked Singer’ Reveals the Identities of Handyman and Scarab: Here Are the Celebrities Under the Costumes

Two celebrities have been revealed to be behind two of the costumes in the latest episode of "The Masked Singer". First up was Handyman, which was unmasked to reveal rapper Tone Loc. The panel were divided on whether it was a man or woman who wore the costume, with Robin Thicke correctly identifying Tone Loc as the correct answer.

Tone Loc said he agreed to appear on the show after his friends dared him to do it. He told Variety that appearing on the show was "fun" and that he enjoyed the secrecy surrounding it. Despite having a distinctive voice, which made it easier for viewers to guess who he was, Tone Loc said he enjoyed the experience.

The second celebrity to be unmasked was Scarab, which revealed actress Taraji P. Henson as the correct answer. Like Handyman, the panel were also divided on whether Scarab was a man or woman, but ultimately agreed that it was Taraji P. Henson who wore the costume.

Taraji P. Henson spoke about her experience on the show in an interview with Variety, saying that she enjoyed the challenge of keeping people guessing and that she appreciated the support of her family as she navigated the process. She also mentioned that she had a personal connection to the theme of "Clueless," which was referenced in the episode.

The latest episode of "The Masked Singer" featured several other contestants, including Snow Cone, Pugcasso, and Crane. Each of these contestants performed a song from the 1990s, with Snow Cone performing "Stronger" by Britney Spears and Scarab performing "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper.

The performances were part of a theme episode called "Clueless Night," which saw each of the contestants dressed in costumes inspired by the iconic film. The show's host, Nick Cannon, praised the creativity of the contestants and the panel, saying that they had all delivered strong performances.

The show continues to feature a range of celebrities in disguise, with new episodes airing on Fox.

I THOUGHT IT WAS SO COOL THAT TONE LOC AND TARAJI P HENSON GOT TO APPEAR ON "THE MASKED SINGER"!!! 😎 THEY MUST HAVE BEEN SO EXCITED TO SEE ALL THE DIFFERENT COSTUMES AND CHARACTERS COMING TO LIFE 💃🏻🕺🏻 I MEAN, TONE LOC'S VOICE IS SO UNIQUE AND DISTINCTIVE - IT WAS HARD FOR PEOPLE TO GUESS WHO HE WAS 🤔 BUT HE DIDN'T LET THAT STOP HIM FROM HAVING FUN ON THE SHOW!!! 😄 AND TARAJI P HENSON SOUNDS LIKE SUCH A PROFESSIONAL AND COOL PERSON - I LOVE HOW SHE MENTIONED HER CONNECTION TO "CLUELESS" AND HOW IT HELPED HER WITH THE THEME EPISODE 🤓

I'm so down for these celebrity reveals 🤩! Tone Loc as Handyman was a total surprise to me, I mean who would've thought? And Taraji P. Henson as Scarab is just genius 👏. I love how the contestants all nailed their performances, especially Snow Cone's "Stronger" - that Britney Spears jam never gets old 🎤. The whole Clueless Night theme was so on point too, it's amazing what kind of creativity people can come up with when given a challenge 💡.

I gotta say, these celebs are giving me life 🤩! But you know what's even more amazing? How they were willing to take a chance and have fun, even when things didn't go as planned 😂. Tone Loc just went for it because his friends dared him, and Taraji P. Henson was all about embracing the challenge. That's what I love - people who aren't afraid to be themselves, or in this case, someone else 🤷‍♀️.

It's also super cool that they were able to have fun with the theme of "Clueless" 🎬. It's a movie that brings back so many memories for me, and it's amazing how it can inspire creativity and joy. The fact that these celebs got to be part of something so special is just a reminder that life is too short to be taken seriously all the time 😊.

So yeah, let's all take a page out of Tone Loc and Taraji P. Henson's book 📚... err, I mean, costume closet 😂! Let's have fun with it, even when things get weird or unexpected. Life is too short to be boring, right? 💖

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how Tone Loc and Taraji P. Henson managed to keep their identities hidden for so long! 🤯 I mean, Tone Loc's voice is super distinctive, you'd think it'd be a giveaway. But like, he was all about the secrecy and having fun, which I can get behind. It's cool that his friends dared him to do it, that's some good old-school motivation 💪

And Taraji P. Henson seems like she really got into character, too. I love how she mentioned her personal connection to the "Clueless" theme – it makes sense why she'd be invested in it 🎬 The performances were all so on point, especially Snow Cone's Britney Spears cover – it was like they were totally channeling their inner '90s diva 💃

I'm also curious about how the contestants prepared for these themed episodes... did they have to research and get into character beforehand? It must've been a lot of work, but I guess that's all part of the fun 🎨

OMG 🤯 can't believe Tone Loc was behind Handyman lol 😂 I mean I guess it's cool he did it for his friends and all but I'm still salty about not guessing correctly 💔 at least Robin Thicke nailed it though 👏 what's up with Taraji P Henson being Scarab tho? 🤔 I love her in Clueless btw, that theme was so iconic 😆

I gotta wonder, what does it say about our society when we're more intrigued by a mystery surrounding someone's identity than their actual talents or personalities? I mean, Tone Loc and Taraji P. Henson are both accomplished artists, but for some reason, the secrecy surrounding "The Masked Singer" is what really had us talking. Is that a reflection of our desire for excitement and novelty over substance and authenticity? 🤔

I'm telling you, this is so fishy 🐟. First, Tone Loc agrees to appear on the show because his friends dared him, but what if that's just a cover story? What if he had some kind of deal with the producers or someone connected to them? I mean, think about it, who's behind the scenes making these decisions? And now Taraji P. Henson comes out and says she had a personal connection to "Clueless", but is that really just a coincidence? I'm not buying it 🤑. There's gotta be more to this than meets the eye...

🤔 I'm not surprised Tone Loc took on this challenge, he's always been up for something quirky! I think it's awesome that Taraji P. Henson was able to tap into her inner diva and have some fun with the Scarab costume 🦋💃. I mean, who doesn't love a good '90s theme episode? The performances were on point, especially Snow Cone slaying "Stronger" by Britney! It's just another reminder that music has the power to bring people together and make us feel something real strong ❤️.

🤔 so they were both cool with just hiding behind a costume and singing songs from the 90s lol what's next for these two? did they get any weird looks from their family members or friends while they were getting ready to perform? 🎤 i'm curious about Taraji P Henson being on this show, she's always been so talented and fierce in her movies... was it scary to be in a costume that had people guessing all the time? 🤷‍♀️

OMG u guys I just saw the latest ep of Masked Singer & I'm DYING over Tone Loc being revealed as Handyman 🤣 I mean I knew it was him from like 2 songs into his performance but still it's always fun to see the celebs' reactions 😂. And Taraji P Henson is so cute in Scarab 👠💃 I love how she kept people guessing & enjoyed the challenge 🎉. The Clueless theme was such a fun idea too, who doesn't love Cher 🙌. Can we get some more 90s tunes on the show tho? 🤔

🤯 can u believe tone loc wore the handyman costume 😂 like i know its funny but what if someone thought he was actually handy lol 🛠️ and taraji p henson as scarab? girl you were so good at keeping people guessing 👀 I mean i love her in hidden figures too but this is just another level of awesomeness 💥, and the 90s theme was everything 🎉 'clueless night' lol my childhood

🤔 I'm still trying to wrap my head around how some of these '90s icons can be so clueless 😂. Like, Tone Loc and Taraji P. Henson were both hiding behind those masks, and we're supposed to just... believe it? 🙄 Robin Thicke must have been a total genius for figuring out that Handyman was actually Tone Loc - I mean, his voice is kinda distinctive, right? 🔊 Anyway, what's wild is how much they had fun with the whole experience. Taraji P. Henson even mentioned having a personal connection to Clueless - I'm curious, did anyone else catch that '90s throwback vibe from the performances? 💃

🤷‍♂️ I don't really get why we need to know who's behind these costumes anyway... it's not like it affects their lives or anything. But hey, if it makes for good TV then I'm all for it! 😊 The fact that Tone Loc and Taraji P. Henson were able to have fun with the experience is awesome, but can we talk about something else? Like how some of these performances were pretty epic? 🎤 Snow Cone slaying "Stronger" by Britney was everything and I need a repeat! 💁‍♀️

Omg u no why i think its so funny that handyman was tone loc lol 🤣 anyway guess what? OMG, I'm dying over here!!! 😂 Tone Loc behind Handyman? Like what?! I love how he said his friends dared him to do it tho, that's so fun! 🤣 And Taraji P Henson as Scarab? Mind blown! 💥 She said she enjoyed the challenge of keeping people guessing and I'm like "Girl, you're a pro!" 👯‍♀️ That Clueless theme was everything and more! 💖
