I'm literally shaking thinking about all these poor people who might not get the help they need during this holiday season! It's absolutely heartbreaking to think that due to some people's lack of awareness or past experiences, we're facing a blood shortage in Philly 
40% decline is no joke! I'm seriously considering becoming a regular donor ASAP 
Can you imagine having to choose between helping someone with cancer and being able to enjoy the holidays with loved ones? It's just not something we should ever have to deal with 
And can we talk about how easy it is to donate blood?! Just 56 days between donations, up to six times a year, and you're saving lives!
I'm so grateful for people like Alana Mauger from the Red Cross who are working day and night to make sure this doesn't get out of hand. We need more people like her!
