This is getting outta hand

! I mean, I get why they're worried about people falling through the ice, but come on, it's like they're trying to stifle our freedom to enjoy the outdoors

. What's next? Telling us we can't have picnics in Fairmount Park because of a few bad apples?

It's all about who has the power and who doesn't - if the city wants to control every inch of our lives, then so be it

. And what's with the fine for just walking on the ice? That's like saying you're guilty until proven innocent

. I mean, we all know that river ice isn't as thick as it looks - it's common sense! And another thing, if people are gonna be out there risking their lives to have some fun, shouldn't they at least get a warning before the police come knocking?

It just seems like the city is trying to control every little thing we do.
