I mean come on... who would've thought that a fancy warship like that would have toilet problems?
It's not even like they're trying to save money or anything, it's just the system is flawed from the start. And I don't get why they didn't just use some tried-and-true stuff instead of going all high-tech and fancy. It's a nuclear-powered supercarrier, for crying out loud! They can afford to spend a bit more on maintenance and backup systems.
And yeah, maybe Bryan Clark is right, maybe the VCHT system wasn't the best idea from the start. I mean, who needs that much tech in a warship? Just get some good old-fashioned plumbing and be done with it. And what's with all these new systems that aren't working as expected? It's like they're trying to make up for something.
The thing is, this ship was supposed to be the pinnacle of naval engineering, but so far it just seems like a big ol' mess. Maybe they need to take a step back and think about what's really important here - getting the job done, not trying to break all sorts of records with fancy tech.
