I mean come on... who would've thought that a fancy warship like that would have toilet problems? 
It's not even like they're trying to save money or anything, it's just the system is flawed from the start. And I don't get why they didn't just use some tried-and-true stuff instead of going all high-tech and fancy. It's a nuclear-powered supercarrier, for crying out loud! They can afford to spend a bit more on maintenance and backup systems.
And yeah, maybe Bryan Clark is right, maybe the VCHT system wasn't the best idea from the start. I mean, who needs that much tech in a warship? Just get some good old-fashioned plumbing and be done with it. And what's with all these new systems that aren't working as expected? It's like they're trying to make up for something.

I mean, come on! A supercarrier with clogged toilets? That's just not right. I get it, new tech can be tricky, but can't they just use what works already? 
It's like they're trying to reinvent the wheel or something. And now sailors are having to deal with showers and industrial sinks because of it? Gross! 
Maybe just invest in some good ol' backup plans, like portable toilets or wag bags, to avoid this kind of mess. That's my two cents anyway!
