The TV industry finally concedes that the future may not be in 8K

I'm like "what's the point of having an 8K TV if there's just gonna be so little good content to watch on it? 🤔 I mean, I've got a sick 4K setup at home and I don't even notice that much of a difference. Plus, my gaming rig is all about 144Hz and HDR - those features are where it's at for me. I'm not saying the industry can't innovate or anything, but from what I see, 8K just isn't delivering on its promises. 📺 I'm good with whatever the future holds, as long as it doesn't break the bank 😅"

I don't get why everyone was so hyped about 8K TVs 🤔. I mean, I have a sweet 4K TV at home and it's been doing me just fine. The graphics aren't that different between 4K and 8K, you know? And what's the point of having an 8K TV if there's barely any content available for it? 📺 It's like buying a new iPhone every year because it has all the latest features... who really needs 'em?

And yeah, I guess most people won't even notice the difference between 4K and 8K. I mean, have you seen those display resolution calculators? 🤯 They say if you're sitting too far away, 8K is basically just like 4K. So, what's the point of paying more for it?

I'm glad manufacturers are moving on to other features like OLED panels and HDR support. That sounds way more interesting to me. Maybe we can finally get some decent gaming performance without breaking the bank 💸. The future of TVs is all about incremental improvements, not just about trying to keep up with the latest resolution trends 🚫.

I'm so done with those fancy 8K TVs 🙄. I mean, who needs that much screen real estate? For most of us, 4K is more than enough. And let's be real, have you seen the prices of those things?! 😳 It's like they're just trying to make a quick buck off people who don't really need it.

And yeah, I've tried watching some 8K content on my friend's new TV and honestly, it didn't make that much difference. It just looked... same-y? 🤔 You know what makes a good viewing experience? Good sound quality, comfortable seating, and a nice room. That's what matters, not how many pixels you've got.

idk why everyone got so hyped about 8K already 🤷‍♂️. I mean, I have a 4K TV and it's perfect for me, no need to break the bank on some fancy 8K thing that's just gonna sit there collecting dust 😅. And yeah, I can see why most people won't notice a diff between 4K and 8K from far away...like, who's ever gonna be sitting that close to their TV at home? 💸

I mean, I've got to say, I'm pretty surprised they're just giving up on 8K TVs already 🤔. I know not many of us have the extra cash to splurge on one of those high-end models, but still, I thought there would be more excitement around it when it first came out. Now it's like, meh, let's just focus on getting better picture quality and features instead 😐. I'm all for that! A good OLED panel and HDR support are what I want to see in my TV, not some fancy 8K resolution that just looks the same as my current one 📺. And honestly, most of us won't even notice the difference between 4K and 8K when we're just chillin' at home watching our fave shows or playing games.

I still can't believe how much hype was built around 8K TVs back in the day 🤯📺. I mean, have you seen most people's viewing distances from their screens? Like, they're always super far away 😂. And yeah, it's true that native 8K content is super scarce. I've been using my LG 4K for years and I haven't noticed a huge difference between it and some 8K stuff I watched online 🤔.

I think the industry just got caught up in the "next big thing" mentality and overpromised, if you ask me 💸. Now that we have OLED panels and HDR support, those are the features people actually care about 📺💻. Plus, 8K is just so darn expensive 🔥. I mean, who's gonna shell out that kind of cash for a TV they'll only use for niche stuff or because it's "future-proofing" their setup? Not me, that's for sure 😂.

Anyway, it's cool to see the industry moving on and focusing on more practical features 🙌. At least now I don't feel like I'm wasting my money on a TV that's just gonna collect dust in some corner of my room 😂.
