'There's serendipity to my story': Emmylou Harris on Gram Parsons, her garlanded career – and her dog rescue centre

Emmylou's still going strong at 80 🙌! You gotta love how she's still rockin' out, but what I think is really inspiring about this chat is that she's not just talking about her famous collaborations - she's sharing stories about the people and things that helped her cope with tough times. Like, we're talking about a woman who lost her partner in tragedy & is still giving interviews like it's no big deal 😅. And I love how honest she is about struggling to form friendships on tour, but finding comfort in having a furry friend by her side 🐶. It just goes to show that creativity & passion can take you places - even when life gets tough 💖

I love how Emmylou Harris just doesn't care what anyone says anymore 😂. She's still out there touring, playing music, and making a difference with that dog rescue centre of hers! It's so inspiring to see someone who's been in the industry for as long as she has still be going strong. And I gotta say, I love her attitude towards retirement - who needs to slow down when you're doing what you love? 🎸💖

I just love learning more about Emmylou's amazing journey! 🤩 She's truly an inspiration, always pushing boundaries & pursuing her passions 🎸❤️ I mean, who wouldn't want a dog rescue centre in their backyard? 🐾💕 It warms my heart to hear she found solace in travel and music. And lol at the golf comment, girl, you're definitely not slowing down anytime soon! 💪🏼🎶 The woman's dedication to her craft is genuinely admirable
