Been following her work for ages, always impressed by her tenacity. 43 years is no joke, you know? I mean, I've been watching TV news since I was like 5 lol. What amazes me is that she still keeps it real all these years later. No drama, just facts. You can tell she's not afraid to ask tough questions either. I wish more journalists had her work ethic and integrity. It's gonna be weird seeing someone new anchor the news, but Melanie's legacy will live on for sure.

OMG, can you even believe Melanie Lawson has been doing this for 43 years?! That's insane! I mean, she's seen so much in her career, from covering big politics events to being on the ground in different parts of the world. It's crazy to think about all the stories she must have to share. And now, she's wrapping up her career - it's like, what a legacy! I'm sure it's not easy to retire after doing something you love for so long, but I guess that's what makes her retirement even more special.
