"Those rights don't count": Bovino says Pretti forfeited 2nd Amendment rights in fatal shooting

This guy Bovino is insane . He's saying some protester forfeited their gun rights because they were being all confrontational? Like what even is that logic? The videos from the scene show Alex just trying to get between an agent and these women he was shoved, no threat at all. And then you shoot him in the head? That's not justice, that's murder .

And now this is some kinda precedent for cops to start shooting people who are just exercising their right to protest? No way, man. We need more transparency and accountability from law enforcement, not less. And what's with all these other officials making mistakes like Bessent bringing a billboard instead of a gun to a protest? Just plain crazy.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this... I mean, what even is the logic behind Bovino's statement? If Alex Pretti was just minding his own biz, carrying a firearm legally, and then got caught up in a protest that turned violent... shouldn't he be protected by the law, not denied his rights because of it? And what about all those videos showing him trying to protect women from some dude he was shoving? That's just crazy talk. I'm so worried about where we're headed as a society if law enforcement is allowed to make up their own rules like this...

Ugh this is wild! I mean, come on Bovino can't just say someone forfeits their 2nd amendment rights because they were involved in some protests. That's not how it works at all . Pretti was literally trying to protect a bunch of women and get sprayed with pepper spray - if that's not self-defense, I don't know what is .

And can we talk about how ridiculous Bessent's whole billboard thing is? Like, who tries to bring a billboard to a protest instead of a gun? . It's all just a huge mess and it's making me anxious thinking about the 2nd amendment and what's going on with law enforcement.

I think we need to get some real transparency and accountability here. We can't just have our cops running around saying whatever they want without consequences. It's not okay, period . And Bovino's whole thing is just a prime example of that .
