Timothy Busfield Edited Out of Amazon MGM Movie ‘You Deserve Each Other’ Following Child Sex Abuse Allegations

Actor Timothy Busfield faces editing out of Amazon's upcoming film "You Deserve Each Other" following child sex abuse allegations. Busfield was accused of groping a 7-year-old boy on the set of another TV show, "The Cleaning Lady". This is not the first project affected by his alleged actions; NBC previously pulled an episode of "Law & Order: SVU" that featured Busfield from its schedule.

An arrest warrant was issued against Busfield on January 9 on two counts of sexual abuse involving a minor. The allegations stem from twin boys who appeared in "The Cleaning Lady" in 2022, when Busfield was the director. He turned himself in at the Metro Detention Center in Albuquerque on January 13 and will remain there until his court hearing.

Busfield faces three charges: two counts of criminal sexual contact with a child and one count of child abuse. The film "You Deserve Each Other" also features Penn Badgley, Meghann Fahy, Justin Long, and several other cast members. Directed by Marc Silverstein and Abby Kohn, the movie is based on Sarah Hogle's novel of the same name and follows a couple who are struggling to reconnect before their wedding.

Following Busfield's arrest warrant, it appears that his contribution to "You Deserve Each Other" will be significantly reduced due to the allegations against him. This decision comes as a result of ongoing investigations into his behavior on set.

Ugh this is getting so out of hand 🤕. I feel bad for the cast members who are still gonna have to deal with this drama. Penn Badgley, Meghann Fahy, and Justin Long, what's gonna happen to their careers? I guess you could say they're collateral damage in all this 😔. The thing that really gets me is how many kids were involved in "The Cleaning Lady" and Busfield was directing them 🤢. That's some serious karma right there 👀. Anyway, I hope the cast members can get through this without too much damage.

🤕 this is a super sobering reminder that our actions have consequences and can affect others in ways we might not even realize. Busfield's case is a harsh lesson in accountability and the importance of taking responsibility for our own behavior, especially when it comes to children. 🙏

it's also a stark reminder of how quickly lives can change and reputations can be built on shaky ground. Busfield's career, which was once full of promise, is now facing significant scrutiny and potential damage due to his alleged actions. 💔

as we watch this situation unfold, let's take a moment to reflect on our own actions and their impact on others. Are there areas in our lives where we can be more mindful and responsible? Can we all strive to create a culture of accountability and respect for everyone involved? 🤝

😕 this is so sad & concerning 🤕 i mean, who wants to support an actor with such serious allegations? it's not just about the film you know? 🎥 and i'm all for giving people second chances, but when there's a chance someone could've harmed a child... no way 🚫. I'm glad he's being held accountable, though 💯 especially since they're looking into his behavior on set. maybe this is an opportunity for us to talk about consent & boundaries in the workplace? 🤝 it's time we prioritize those values, don't you think? 💖

I'm telling you something fishy is going on here 🤔. First, Busfield gets accused of groping this little kid on set and suddenly he's in hot water? It's like the whole system is just waiting for an excuse to take him down. And now, his movie is getting edited out because of it? It seems like some people are trying to cover their own tracks 🚫. I mean, what if there were more kids involved? Or what if this was all just a setup to get him in trouble? You never know what's really going on behind the scenes...

omg is this real life? like i just saw penn badgley in a movie and now he's got some dude's sister or something involved 🤯 what even is child sexual abuse tho... i don't get it, is that like a thing where someone touches you wrong when you're little? anyway, i feel so bad for the twins who were allegedly abused on set... can we talk about something else now my mind is all messed up 🤦‍♀️ did u know that pizza delivery guys have to go through training before they can deliver pizzas?? i read it online and stuff
