Trump opens ‘Board of Peace’ by listing countries the US has bombed

US President Donald Trump unveiled his "Board of Peace" by listing several countries that the United States has bombed during his presidency, sparking widespread criticism.

During a speech ahead of the signing of the Board of Peace initiative, which aims to promote peace and stability worldwide, Trump revealed the US airstrikes in Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Nigeria, Libya, Somalia, Mali, Democratic Republic of Congo, Niger, Chad and South Sudan. The list appears to include all countries that have been targeted by US military operations under his leadership.

Critics have accused Trump's "Board of Peace" as a joke, pointing out the irony of the name given the extensive record of US bombing campaigns around the world during his presidency. They argue that such actions only fuel more violence and instability in regions already plagued by conflict.

"This is an insult to everyone who has lost loved ones or homes due to US aggression," said a spokesperson for anti-war groups, condemning Trump's "Board of Peace" as a thinly veiled attempt to whitewash his administration's military record.

OMG, like, can you believe this ?? 🤯 Trump is literally trying to call himself the "peace guy" after dropping bombs on half the world? It's like, totally not even funny, it's so messed up 😱. Like, how is he even supposed to promote peace with a record like that? It's all just a big joke, right? 🤣 But seriously, can you blame anyone for being outraged over this? I mean, who loses loved ones or homes due to US aggression and then gets some empty gesture like this as "recompense"? Not cool, Trump 🚫. Just, no. Can't even... 😭.

I dont think trump can just erase all the lives he's hurt by saying its all about peace... 🤕 what does it mean to promote peace when you've been dropping bombs on so many countries? 🌪️ like how are we supposed to trust him now? 🤔 and btw, didnt he already bomb libya back in 2011? 🙅‍♂️ wasnt that a whole other "peace" initiative gone wrong? 🤦‍♀️ anyway, this just seems like another example of how american foreign policy is all about projecting power rather than actual peaceful resolution... 💣

I'm so disappointed in this move from Trump 🤦‍♂️. Like, what's the point of even calling it a 'Board of Peace' if you're just gonna list all these countries that got bombed under your watch? 😒 It's like he's literally saying "Hey, we've messed up a lot of places, but hey, we meant well" 🙄. I get that criticism is part of the job, but this just seems like a massive attempt to save face and distract from all the harm his policies have caused around the world. 🌎 Newsflash: bombing someone's country doesn't exactly promote peace or stability, folks! 💣

😒 I'm not sure about this one... it sounds like a total publicity stunt to me! 🤔 Trump thinks listing all the countries he bombed during his presidency is going to make him look good? 🙄 It just comes across as a desperate attempt to distract from his actual record on peace and stability. And let's be real, airstrikes in half of Africa? That's not exactly what I'd call a success story... 🌍💥

🙄 I mean, come on, Trump thinks listing all the countries he's bombed is going to make him sound like some kinda hero? Newsflash: it just screams genocide 🚫. I get that he wants to justify his own actions, but at what cost? Those airstrikes are just fueling more conflict and suffering for innocent people 💔. And what's with this "Board of Peace" initiative? Sounds like a bunch of hype to me 🤦‍♂️. It's just another way for him to spin his failed policies into something positive. Not buying it 😒. The fact that he thinks he can just claim responsibility for all these bombing campaigns and call it "peace" is laughable 😂. Maybe instead of trying to whitewash his record, Trump should try being honest about the devastating consequences of his actions? 💯

I MEAN COME ON WHO COULD TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY?! TRUMP'S BOARD OF PEACE IS LIKE A JOKE, RIGHT? HE'S TRYING TO PASS OFF HIS RECORD OF BEING THE ULTIMATE WARMONGER AS SOME KIND OF PEACE INITIATIVE?! IT JUST SOUNDS LIKE A BUNCH OF EXCUSES FOR WHY WE HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS IN THE WORLD. I MEAN YES THE US HAS BEEN INVOLVED IN SOME TERRIBLE CONFLICTS, BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN WE CAN JUST WAVE OUR HANDS AND SAY "OH WELL" ABOUT IT ALL.

AND WHAT'S WITH THE LIST OF COUNTRIES?! IS HE TRYING TO BE LIKE SOME KIND OF WORLD LEADER OR SOMETHING? NEWS FLASH DONALD: YOU'RE NOT A LEADER, YOU'RE A DIVA WHO THINKS HE CAN JUST DO WHATEVER HE WANTS WITHOUT ANY CONSEQUENCES!

OMG I'm so confused about this "Board of Peace" thing... like, isn't the point of it to promote peace and stability? 😒 So why is he listing all these countries that got bombed during his term? That just seems like a big ol' PR stunt to me. And honestly, can you blame people for thinking it's a joke? I mean, it does kinda sound like something out of a satire video. But seriously, if he wants to actually promote peace, wouldn't it be better to focus on diplomatic efforts and cooperation with other countries? 🤔 The whole thing just feels really tone-deaf to me...

omg this guy can't even get a decent name for his peace initiative 😂 like what's next gonna be the "board of war" 🤦‍♂️ i mean who bombs that many countries? it's just ridiculous and sad to see ppl losing loved ones cuz of these actions 💔 especially in countries already struggling with conflict it's like, hello, that's not how you promote peace 🙄 the whole thing seems like a joke to me 😜 gotta keep calling out these kinds of moves from our leaders

I'm so frustrated with this whole thing 🤯! I mean, come on, Donald Trump wants to call it a "Board of Peace"? That's like me calling my grammar correction blog "The Fun of Spelling" 😂. It just doesn't add up.

And can we talk about the list he shared? Like, is that really the extent of US bombing campaigns under his presidency? Because I'm pretty sure Somalia was already a mess before he even showed up there 🤦‍♂️. And what's with the multiple mentions of Somalia? Did they really need to be listed twice?

It's just so ironic that this "Board of Peace" is being met with such widespread criticism, especially from anti-war groups who are saying it's a joke and a way for Trump to cover up his admin's military record 🚫. I mean, who tries to whitewash their bad deeds by calling themselves a "board of peace"? Not a very convincing move if you ask me 😒.

I just can't believe what I'm reading... 🤯 It seems like a total farce! The dude launches this 'Board of Peace' initiative and then goes ahead and reveals the list of countries that've been bombed by the US during his presidency. Like, who does that? 😂 Does he really think it's funny to poke fun at peace?

I mean, I get it, some people might see it as an attempt to deflect from his own questionable actions, but honestly, it just comes off as tone deaf. How can you claim to promote peace and stability when your own actions are causing so much harm? 🤷‍♀️ The fact that he's trying to spin this as a joke just shows how out of touch he is with reality.

And I feel for the families who've lost loved ones due to US aggression - it's devastating enough without having to deal with this kind of mockery. It's like, no, Mr President, your 'Board of Peace' isn't fooling anyone. 👎

I don’t usually comment but this news has got me thinking lol 🤔. I mean, come on, who names an initiative promoting peace and stability the same time they’re listing all the countries they've bombed? It just seems like a massive joke to me 😂. I get that he was trying to draw attention to some of these conflicts but it feels like a case of too little, too late. And honestly, isn’t it weird that he’s basically saying “we did this and we’re not sorry”? Like, what are they gonna do now? 🤷‍♂️. I guess you could say it just reinforces the notion that diplomacy is overrated in his mind. Anyway, it's definitely sparked a lot of conversation and I think that’s what he was probably hoping for 💬.

I'm not sure about this whole "Board of Peace" thing 🤔... I mean, it's nice that Trump is trying to promote peace and stability worldwide, but listing all the countries the US has bombed during his presidency? That just seems like a pretty tone-deaf move 😕. I get that he wants to take responsibility for some of the actions taken under his watch, but come on, it feels like more of an attempt to save face than actually making amends 💔.

And honestly, can't we just call it what it is? The US has a long history of military intervention in countries around the world, and it's not like Trump's administration was the first to get involved in conflicts 🙄. It feels like he's trying to paint himself as some kind of peace broker when really, he's just trying to shift the blame for his own mistakes 🤷‍♂️. Still, I guess it's better than nothing, and maybe this is a step in the right direction? 🤞

come on trump... 🤦‍♂️ how can you just list all these countries that u've bombed during ur presidency and call it the board of peace? doesn't make sense, man. i think its just a joke and u r trying to spin this in a good light but honestly its not gonna work. u can try to spin it however u want but at the end of the day u r still responsible for all these deaths and bombings. maybe u shd focus on actually promoting peace instead of just trying to cover ur own tracks? 🤷‍♂️

😱 what is going on with this guy?! Can't believe he's trying to call himself the "President of Peace" and then just lists all these countries that were bombed during his term in office 🤯 Like, how do you even expect people to take him seriously? And the worst part is that it's all true, we've seen the videos of those airstrikes 📺. It's just mind-boggling that he'd try to spin this as some kind of "Board of Peace" initiative. Newsflash Donald: bombing someone doesn't equal peace 💔.

lol what is this dude playing at? naming countries he bombed as part of some "peace" initiative 😂🤦‍♂️ like who does that? I mean, I get it, he's trying to deflect from all the problems he made during his presidency but come on, man! 🙄 you can't just bomb people and then try to make peace with them afterwards. That's like me going to a dinner party and then showing up late with a bunch of presents... not cool 😒

idk man... like, trump's trying to promote peace and stability but he's basically highlighting all the countries we've bombed in 4 years 🤯💥 it's just wild. i mean, can you imagine if obama or any other president did that? there'd be a huge backlash for sure. but trump just brushes it off like it's no big deal 🙄. newsflash trump: bombing ppl doesn't make us peaceful 😂. also, what's up with the board name tho? peace and stability sound nice and all but have you seen the list of countries he's got there? Somalia's on there TWICE 🤦‍♂️ that's just a joke in itself.

I don't get it what Trump is tryin' to do here 🤔. Like, you can't just list all the countries you bombed and call it a peace initiative? 🙄 It's like me goin' around my neighborhood and startin' a "Clean Stairs" campaign by highlightin' all the times I tripped on the stairs 😂. Not exactly gonna inspire trust or confidence in the whole "peace" thing. And what's with the name, right? Sounds like somethin' out of a bad parody movie 🎥.

um so like what was trump thinking man... listing all those countries that he bombed sounds like something outta a war movie but in real life its just people dying and homes being destroyed i dont get why he would do this especially since his "board of peace" is supposed to be about keeping everyone safe? like how can bombing other countries be peaceful lol idk maybe im missing somethin, but from where im sitting it looks like he's trying to confuse ppl

omg what kinda sick joke is this?! he thinks he can just announce a whole list of countries he bombed and call it peace lol what even is the point of that? i mean, i get that ppl are mad about all the wars he got us involved in but like come on trump you're trying to sell us a bill of goods here. "oh look we care about peace now" no you just got caught with your hands dirty and now u gotta spin it so bad

and what really gets me is that ppl are actually buying this i see all these comments online saying stuff like "at least he's acknowledging the issue" but like no dude ur not acknowledging nothing! u r just trying to shift the blame and make us feel better about how messed up things have gotten under ur admin

i swear trump has got some of the worst impulse control issues and sometimes i worry about what kinda decisions he'll make next
