Trump's attack on Venezuela without alerting Congress tests limits of executive power

🤔 I don’t usually comment but... this whole thing with President Trump detaining Nicolás Maduro without informing Congress is just wild 🚨. Like, what even is going on here? The War Powers Resolution was put in place to prevent exactly this kind of scenario, and yet Trump is basically saying he can do whatever he wants, whenever he wants 🔥.

I don’t get why some Republican lawmakers are being so quiet about this. Shouldn’t they be standing up for the Constitution and their own constituents? It feels like they’re more worried about going along with Trump's crowd than doing what’s right 🤷‍♂️.

It’s also super concerning that Maduro is facing an uncertain future under US military presence 😬. What are we even hoping to achieve here? Is this some kind of attempt at regime change or just a power play by the US government? 🤯

I don’t know, maybe I’m just missing something, but it seems like Trump is testing the limits of executive power and Congress isn't doing enough to stop him 💔. It’s time for our lawmakers to step up and take control of their responsibilities 👊.

Trump's move on Maduro is totally out of bounds 🚫👮‍♂️! He's basically saying he can do whatever he wants without Congress knowing, which is not only unprecedented but also super concerning 🤯. I mean, the War Powers Resolution was put in place for a reason - to keep presidents from getting too out of control 💪.

The fact that some Republicans are cowed by Trump's dominance and aren't speaking up about this is really troubling 😔. We need more transparency and oversight, not less! And let's be real, if we don't fix the War Powers Resolution now, it's gonna get even harder to check presidential power in the future 🕰️.

Venezuela is already dealing with a lot of instability, so this just adds fuel to the fire 🔥. We need Congress to take action and make sure they're not letting Trump run amok 🚫. This isn't a democracy if one person can basically dictate what happens without anyone else's input 💔.

Someone needs to rewrite that War Powers Resolution ASAP, stat! 💡 And we need to hold our lawmakers accountable for doing their jobs and standing up to executive overreach 👊. Anything less would be a total failure of our democratic institutions 🤦‍♂️ #NotMyPresident #WarPowersResolution #AccountabilityMatters

🤔 This whole thing is super fishy, you know? I mean, I get that Trump wants to show off his power, but detaining someone without even telling Congress? That's like a big ol' middle finger to democracy. 🚫 And what about the War Powers Resolution? Shouldn't presidents be held accountable for their actions? It seems like Trump is just making up rules as he goes along. 😒

And don't even get me started on Venezuela - it's like, one thing that everyone agrees on: the country needs help. But now, thanks to Trump, we've got a huge power vacuum and no one knows what's going to happen next? 🤯 It's super scary.

I think Congress needs to step up its game here and tell Trump to stop being so extra. They can't just sit back and let him do whatever he wants. That's not how democracy works! 💪

🤔 This whole thing is a total power play by Trump 🚀. I mean, who does he think he is, just swooping in and taking out Maduro without even consulting Congress? It's like he thinks he's above the law, which is exactly what concerns me 😬. The War Powers Resolution was put in place to prevent this kind of thing from happening, but Trump just ignores it or finds ways to get around it.

It's also super concerning that some Republicans are backing him up on this. Like, where's their spine? 🤷‍♂️ Don't they remember what the Constitution is all about? The separation of powers and checks and balances? It's not a suggestion, folks! It's the law 💪.

And let's be real, this is just another example of Trump's 'America First' policy in action 🇺🇸. He thinks he can do whatever he wants and not have to answer for it because he's got his own agenda going on. Well, I've got news for him: the American people aren't buying it anymore 📊.

We need Congress to step up and take control of this situation ASAP 🔥. We can't let Trump just dictate how things go without any oversight or accountability 💼. It's time for some real leadership, not just empty rhetoric 🗣️.
