Turning Point Action endorsing Ken Paxton sparks backlash online

I gotta say, I'm still trying to process why we're even having this conversation . Ken Paxton's personal life is a whole mess and it's wild that his party is endorsing him despite all the drama . It's like they're saying "yeah, we know he's got some skeletons in the closet, but hey, he'll be good for the team". I'm just not buying it . And can we talk about how crazy it is that we need to be debating this in the first place? shouldn't we be focusing on real issues instead of who's got a clean marriage record . I'm all for people making their voices heard, but let's make sure we're voting for someone who actually cares about the people they're supposed to serve .

Yooo, can you believe this?! Ken Paxton is getting all the attention for his nomination by Turning Point Action and people are totally freaking out online ! I mean, I get it, he's leading in the polls and all, but come on, his personal life is like, super sketchy . I'm not gonna lie, that serial adulterer label from some dude on Twitter has me raising an eyebrow .

I've been following this whole thing and it's like, Turnip Point Action is all about mobilizing young people for the GOP, but now they're endorsing Paxton? It just doesn't add up . And don't even get me started on those tweets from Jonah Wendt - "corrupt serial adulterer" might be a bit harsh, fam .

Anyway, I'm curious to see how this whole thing plays out . Early voting is coming up soon and people are gonna have their say . Can Paxton really pull off the nomination? We'll just have to wait and see !

can't believe turning point action is backing ken paxton again he's been all over the news for his personal life and it's just not cool. i mean, who wants someone with all that baggage leading our state? especially when there are so many other qualified ppl running. and what's up with turning point action? they're just trying to manipulate young voters into thinking this is what republicanism is all about

what's going on w/ ken paxton tho? i mean i get it ppl have concerns but all these accusations of serial adulterer is just too much ‍ anyway turns out TPAction is backing him & that's a whole different story...some say he needs to clean up his act before taking the senate seat, while others think he'll use TPAction's momentum 2 their advantage either way it's gonna be interesting to watch how this plays out in the elections

I'm literally still trying to wrap my head around this Ken Paxton thing ... I mean, one minute he's a total unknown and the next he's getting endorsed by Turning Point Action and suddenly everyone thinks he's the future of the GOP . But you know what really gets me? The fact that people are talking about his personal life like it's some kind of scandal. I get it, he's had some skeletons in his closet , but come on, can't we just focus on the issues for once?

And don't even get me started on Jonah Wendt comparing him to Charlie Kirk ... like, hello, they're not even in the same league! But what really bothers me is that people are using it as an excuse to dismiss Paxton's chances. Newsflash: just because someone has a few skeletons in their closet doesn't mean they're not qualified for the job .

I'm so done with the politics and all the drama ... can't we just have a decent election where people focus on the issues? I guess only time will tell, but right now, I'm just sitting here shaking my head .
