Ugh, too much crime dramas tonight . Can't they just show us something funny for once? Like, what's next, a whole season of true crime documentaries?! I mean, I know some people love that stuff, but it's just so... heavy . And don't even get me started on the BBC's comedy lineup . Live at the Apollo? Really? Can't they find someone better than Kae Kurd? At least Tom Davis is still bringing the laughs . But seriously, a whole day of darkness and intrigue? Can we just have some lightheartedness for once? Maybe a rom-com or something?
man... watching all this crime stuff is super depressing its like we're always hearing about some new scandal or murder case that makes us question if humanitys got it in us anymore... but honestly, i think thats what makes life so interesting - the darkest corners we hide in are also where our truest selves live and we gotta confront those parts of ourselves to grow, you know? like, we all got our own dark secrets or vices that we keep hidden from the world, but its how we face them that matters... maybe thats what these shows are trying to tell us - that even in the darkest times, there's always a lesson to be learned
I don’t usually comment but... I feel like tonight’s TV lineup is just highlighting how messed up our world really is . All these true crime shows are bringing up some heavy stuff, but at the same time, they're keeping us informed about important issues that we should be aware of. And then you've got the comedies to balance it out, which is always a relief .
I do think it's interesting how Channel 4 is tackling these complex cases with ‘999’ and ‘24 Hours in Police Custody’. It's not just entertainment; it's actually helping to shed light on real-life issues that we need to discuss. And the fact that they're covering some of these stories that haven't been told before is really admirable .
But, I mean, can't we get a bit more positivity out of our TV programming? A balance between darkness and comedy would be nice . Still, I guess that's just the way it is in 2025...
