Two Women Living Together by Kim Hana and Hwang Sunwoo review – the Korean bestseller about platonic partnership

the thing is, i love the idea behind "Two Women Living Together" but the execution feels kinda half-baked to me 🤔. they're trying to tell this super relatable story about platonic partnership but it's just not fleshed out enough. like, we get the basics of hana and sunwoo's friendship but what about their backstories? what led them to reject marriage in the first place? and don't even get me started on how often they bring up their pets 🐾🐶... it feels like they're trying to distract from some deeper issues. and i'm all for raising awareness about inclusive social policies, but can we please just have a more nuanced discussion about this stuff? sometimes less is more, you know? 🤷‍♀️

I don’t usually comment but I think it’s kinda cool how South Korea is starting to acknowledge cohabiting partners on the census now 🙏. It shows they're moving in the right direction. But at the same time, I feel like there's still a long way to go. Like, these two women are living together and have a whole life built around each other, but they're still not fully recognized as a family. It's like, why can't we just accept that love and care come in all forms? 💕 The fact that they had to deal with so many issues just because of their relationship is just crazy 🤯. But I guess it's good that there are books like "Two Women Living Together" that bring attention to these kinds of issues and encourage people to think differently about what family means 👥.

OMG 🤩 I'm so loving this book "Two Women Living Together" right now! It's like, totally mind-blown how open-minded South Korea is being about recognizing platonic partnerships, even if it's just with a new census label 📊. I mean, who wouldn't want to celebrate love and companionship in all its forms? 😍 The fact that Hana and Sunwoo are defying traditional family norms and creating their own way is so inspiring! 💪 And can we talk about how relatable it is to have pets as part of the "family"? 🐾 My dog is literally my baby, so I'm here for it! 🐶 Anyway, this book is a total must-read for anyone interested in alternative family structures and care. It's like, totally eye-opening and will make you rethink what it means to be part of a family. 👀
