Ukraine-Russia peace talks: 'No progress' on territory nor future security guarantees

I'm getting this feeling that we're stuck in some kind of cycle here 🔄. I mean, talks are happening, but what's actually changing on the ground? It feels like both sides just want to negotiate their way out of a problem without making any real concessions. And with no clear US involvement, it's like they're just trying to figure this out between themselves.

I'm not sure if I think this is just another example of diplomacy for its own sake... 🤔. Are we just going through the motions here? What are we actually hoping to achieve? Is it even possible to have a genuine breakthrough in these talks or are we doomed to repeat the same patterns over and over again?

It's like, what's the end goal here? Do both sides really want peace or is this all just about avoiding escalation? 🤷‍♂️ I don't know, man... it feels like we're just stuck in a never-ending loop.

The situation with Ukraine and Russia is getting really frustrating 😩. I think we're focusing too much on the fact that talks are happening, but what's really important is that actual progress is being made. Just prisoner exchanges aren't going to cut it - we need concrete agreements on security guarantees and territorial claims.

It's interesting that experts say diplomacy efforts are just masking deeper issues 🤔. The US not showing up to these talks doesn't help either... maybe they're worried about the ripple effect on European allies? We can't afford to have more failed negotiations 🚫. What we need is a clear plan for resolving these disputes in a way that works for everyone involved.

The "small wins" stuff just isn't enough - we need real, meaningful agreements 💪. And even if diplomats keep saying things are going well, I'm not convinced 😐. The fact that both sides aren't budging on key issues is really concerning... what's the point of all these talks if nothing changes?

I dunno about all this 😕. People saying these talks are gonna fail but I think it's 'cause we're expecting too much, ya know? Like, just 'cause there ain't been no breakthrough doesn't mean they won't happen. And what if the US is really involved and just playing it cool? 🤔 Wouldn't that be some crazy politics? Anyway, I think Stefan Wolff might be being a bit harsh with his "deep divides" comment 🙄. Both sides gotta meet in the middle somehow, right? Maybe we're just looking at this all wrong... 💭

ugh this is so frustrating 🤯 i feel like we're stuck on replay in ukraine crisis news every week something needs to change but i dont know what 🤔 maybe its time for some new voices to be at the table? like what about european countries or the us not taking sides or leading the conversation? that would definitely shake things up 💡 anyway, feels like we're just watching this conflict play out without making any real progress 🚫💔
