Uma Thurman, Sarah Shahi, Clifton Collins Jr., and More Join "Red, White & Royal Wedding" Cast
Amazon MGM Studios' hit romantic comedy sequel, "Red, White & Royal Wedding," has added to its cast a star-studded lineup of returning actors. The film series, which follows the unlikely romance between Prince Henry (Nicholas Galitzine) and Alex Claremont-Diaz (Taylor Zakhar Perez), promises to be even more dramatic and complicated as their wedding day approaches.
At the forefront of this new crop of additions are Uma Thurman as President Ellen Claremont, Clifton Collins Jr. as Congressman Oscar Diaz, and Sarah Shahi as Zahra Bankston, the First Couple's deputy chief of staff. Ellie Bamber will reprise her role as Princess Beatrice, Henry's sister and the object of speculation for her upcoming wedding.
Recurring characters, including Stephen Fry as King James III, Thomas Flynn as Prince Philip, and Malcolm Atobrah as Percy, are set to return alongside newcomers Henry Ashton and Alex Høgh Andersen. Jamie Babbit directs the sequel from a script by Gemma Burgess, Matthew López, and Casey McQuiston, who penned the original novel.
Berlanti Schechter Films' Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter will once again produce the film under their banner, joined by Michael McGrath, as well as Jennifer Salke of Sullivan Street Productions. McQuiston and executive producer Michael Constable round out the production team.
While details about the plot remain under wraps, with Galitzine and Perez assuring fans that Alex and Henry's wedding is still years away, anticipation for this sequel builds among fans of the original hit series. With such a talented cast returning, expectations are high for another delightful and humorous take on love in the spotlight.
