US court allows ICE to arrest and pepper-spray peaceful protesters in Minnesota

I don’t usually comment but... I'm really worried about what's happening in Minnesota right now 🤕. This decision by the Federal Appeals Court to lift restrictions on ICE's use of force against peaceful protesters is just plain scary 😱. It feels like we're taking a huge step back in terms of protecting our civil liberties and democracy. As someone who values free speech and assembly, I think it's outrageous that the Trump administration is essentially giving law enforcement a green light to intimidate and harass people who are just trying to make their voices heard 💔.

I also can't help but think about Renee Good, the woman who was killed by a federal agent. Her death has had such a profound impact on her community and it's heartbreaking that we're not seeing more accountability from our government 🤕. I hope that Vice President Harris' visit to Minneapolis will bring some much-needed attention to this issue and maybe even lead to some real change 💪. We need to make sure that our laws are in place to protect us, not punish us for exercising our rights 👊.

this is getting crazy what's going on with ICE & protesters i mean, can't we just chill a bit? pepper spray & arrests for peaceful protest? that's not right 😡 i remember when my kids were young, our parents used to fight for the rights we have today, but now it feels like they're being taken away from us. governor tim walz & mayor jacob frey are right on this one, a federal invasion is just that - an invasion 🚫 what's next? deploying national guard to pat down citizens at the mall or something? come on, folks, let's get some common sense into play here...

I don’t usually comment but... I'm really worried about what's happening in Minnesota right now 🤕. It seems like federal agents are being allowed to treat protesters like criminals instead of people exercising their rights 🚫. The fact that a judge lifted those restrictions and gave them the green light to use pepper spray and make arrests without fear of repercussions is just not right 😡. I mean, what's next? Are we gonna see a wave of police brutality cases that'll be swept under the rug? 🤦‍♀️ The administration's stance on this is so unclear and it's only fueling the fire 🔥. We need more accountability here and some real leaders who care about the people, not just politicians looking to advance their careers 💔.
