I think it's actually really cool that Swalwell is speaking out and holding his colleagues accountable for their actions during the Trump presidency

. I mean, someone has to bring up the past and make sure everyone knows what went down, right? And if Republicans are going to try to discredit the January 6th Committee, then they need to be prepared to answer for themselves. It's like, if you're going to block an investigation, then you'd better have a good explanation for why you're doing it

I also think it's awesome that Jack Smith is corroborating Swalwell's account and saying that he did everything right during the investigation

. I mean, this is some serious stuff we're talking about here – the integrity of our democracy and all that jazz
