I just watched that movie "Melania" and I gotta say, it looks kinda interesting . I mean, who doesn't wanna see a movie about Melania Trump? But seriously, 40 million bucks is a lotta cash for marketing, and you'd think more people would wanna see it by now. I guess the trailer really didn't make an impression on me, it just seemed like some dude walking around in sunglasses .
I'm curious why there are only two theaters with sold-out screenings? Is it because of something specific about those theaters or just bad luck for everyone else? And what's up with the box office numbers being kinda low, even for an original Amazon Prime Video movie? I guess we'll just have to keep watching and see if people start biting .
OMG, like what?! I'm literally shook that only TWO theaters have sold out opening day showtimes for #Melania despite all the hype & $$$ spent on promotion ! Like, how much did Amazon spend?! $75 million on one film?! Crazy expensive ! And to think they're trying to tell us this is some kinda 'important' story about Melania... I mean, it's a movie about her life, okay? Not exactly breaking news . Anyways, can't wait to see if the film will do better than expected & make up for all that marketing ! Guess you could say this is gonna be a wild ride... #MelaniaMovie #BoxOfficePredictions
man... it's weird how much hype can surround someone's life story and yet still underwhelm people at the box office . i mean, don't get me wrong, the trailer does look pretty cool with melania strutting around all those fancy rooms, but is that really enough to draw in the masses? it's like we're so fascinated by the lives of celebrities and public figures that we forget about the content itself sometimes... what does it say about us as a society when even a film about someone as prominent as trump can't get people excited about showing up to see it in person?
