think we're already living in a world where gov't shutdowns feel like normal life... but this one feels different - like a ticking time bomb waiting to happen all these restrictions on immigration enforcement tactics just seem so unnecessary... can't they see how it's gonna escalate into more violence & chaos? and what about the impact on all those other agencies that get caught in the crossfire? TSA, FEMA, Coast Guard, Secret Service... 75 billion dollars over a decade isn't gonna make up for the uncertainty & fear of another shutdown let's just hope they figure it out before Feb 13
Ugh, this government shutdown thingy is getting old ... I mean, can't they just find a way to work together? It's not that hard, right? They're basically saying "no" to reasonable changes in immigration enforcement tactics and it's gonna affect so many people. Like, what about all the TSA folks who are gonna be affected by this? Or the ones at FEMA who might have to deal with more emergencies because of the delay? And don't even get me started on the Coast Guard and Secret Service... they're already underfunded and understaffed as it is! Can we just please, for the love of all things good, find a way to compromise? The country needs this kind of stability, you know?

i wish lawmakers would just put themselves in the shoes of those immigrants and try to understand where they're coming from. its not rocket science! like we know how it feels to be misunderstood or judged based on our appearance or background. lets just have a dialogue and work together, you know?
