Why has no English manager won the Premier League?

I'm low-key rooting for Liam Rosenior at Chelsea , but at the same time, I'm also thinking, what if Eddie Howe or Frank Lampard come through and break that drought? It's like, we've seen it happen with managers from other countries - they come in and suddenly your team is a contender. Maybe it's just a case of needing someone to shake things up at Chelsea and bring some English football know-how back into the fold .

But honestly, I think it's more than just the manager - there are deeper issues with how teams are built and how they perform in the Premier League. Like, have you seen some of these teams' rosters? It's like a mismatched Jumanji game . Maybe we need to take a step back and figure out why English managers haven't been as successful as their foreign counterparts before trying to bring them in again .

ugh this is so frustrating - we need more english managers in the premier league like now or 30 years ago we would've won a bunch of titles already... i feel like it's not just about the manager though, teams are always spending crazy amounts on players and coaches, it should be an equal balance between talent and good management. eddie howe is a legend and would bring so much experience to the job, but atm he's stuck in the championship... what's gonna change?

Come on... 34 years is a pretty long drought for English managers to lift the trophy, you know? I mean, Liam Rosenior has got Chelsea's resources and talent at his disposal, so it's not like he's going in blind. And Eddie Howe and Frank Lampard are both experienced gaffers with some decent CVs... But still, 1 in 34 isn't exactly a ringing endorsement for English managers, is it? I think it's time to look beyond just hiring more English managers and get to the root of why they're not doing so well. Maybe it's time for some serious restructuring or investment in developing the next gen of English managers who can compete with the best.
