This is gonna be a long recovery for Haiti... Like, how many times does one country need to get shook down before they just get stability? I mean, the US is trying to help, but their approach feels like it's all about maintaining control rather than actually supporting the Haitian people. And can we talk about the hypocrisy of this whole "Donroe Doctrine" thing? Like, if that's really true, then where were they when Haiti was struggling all these years?
idk what's going on in haiti rn it's like they're stuck in a never ending crisis i mean, 1.4 million people had to leave their homes due to gang violence? that's crazy and the us is warning them not to mess with their government but what can they do? it feels like no one's in charge anyway, this donroe doctrine thing sounds super suspicious like they're trying to control everyone in the western hemisphere can someone explain how that works?
its crazy how usa is doing its thing again in haiti theyre saying they'll take action if anyone tries to mess up the transitional council but what exactly does that even mean? are they gonna send in some special forces or just make a big show of it? and why now, when it seems like everything is already falling apart over there? its like usa think it can just dictate whats best for haiti without actually getting their hands dirty.
This whole thing is just super messed up . I mean, what's going on in Haiti is like, totally not okay, you know? Gangs running amok and people losing their homes... it's heartbreaking . And now the US is threatening to intervene? Like, isn't that gonna create more problems than it solves? The whole 'Donroe Doctrine' thing just sounds super aggressive . I'm all for stability and security, but can't they just sit down with Haiti and work out a solution instead of being all like "we're gonna take action" ? And what about the UN's role in this? Shouldn't they be the ones stepping in to help? It's just too much drama ...
