Will Eagles QB Jalen Hurts dial up his own number more in the playoffs?

I'm not sure if Jalen Hurts can go back to his rushing days anytime soon 🤔. I mean, he's been playing it safe with designed runs and that's helped him avoid injuries, but it also means defenses are focusing on stopping him in the pocket rather than getting caught up in potential carries. That being said, he did average 3.8 rushes per game in the playoffs last season, so maybe we'll see a bit more aggression from him this time around 🚀.

But, to be honest, I don't think it's going to be a huge jump in rushing yards for Hurts in the playoffs. He's been playing with a more experienced team and his role might not require as much of that thing he does so well: scrambling for first downs 💪. Still, I'm rooting for him to find some success on the ground and help the Eagles take it to the next level 🎯

the eagles are so predictable 🙄 with their new offense under patullo, it's like they're playing not to lose. jalen hurts used to be a game-changer on the field, but now he's just trying to avoid getting hurt. i hope he finds his rhythm again in the playoffs, but if he does, it'll probably be because of some clever design from the coaches rather than any real instinct from juren hurts himself 🤔

I dont think Jalen Hurts has to return to his pre-2023 form rushing wise...hes got 25 TDs and hes still super effective passing, 421 yards is pretty low but hes been carrying the team a lot less on the ground lately which is def a strategic move to stay healthy 🤷‍♂️. The Eagles have shown improvement in other areas like their defense so maybe they just need to focus on getting those third downs right?

you know i've been thinking about this a lot and it's like... jalen hurts' rushing game is like a metaphor for his career path 🤔. on one hand, he's still an elite quarterback with incredible stats under his belt, but on the other hand, he's been playing it safe lately which makes me wonder if he's lost that spark that made him so special in the first place 💡.

and then there's this idea of self-preservation, where hurts is avoiding injuries and not taking risks like he used to. i think that's a really interesting dynamic because it shows how much pressure hurts is under as the starter 🤯. he's no longer just playing for himself, but also for his teammates and the team's success.

but what does this mean for the future? will he find that balance between taking risks and playing smart? or will he continue to play it safe and risk being one-dimensional again? only time will tell, but i think we can all learn from hurts' journey about finding that right mix of aggression and caution 🕰️.

idk why people r expecting jalen hurts 2 suddenly start makin huge runs again 🤔 he's played it safe all reg season n it paid off, injuries r no joke u dont wanna risk gettin smashed n then be done for good 💪 plus the new coach seems 2 b playin it smart n not just throwin him out there 4 a beat-up 😒 so yeah, i think hes gonna keep it chill n still lead the eagles 2 victory 🏆

OMG I'm so confused about Jalen Hurts rn 😩🤯 He's literally one of my favorite QBs and I've been on the edge of my seat all season waiting for him to break out of that rushing slump 🤦‍♂️ Like what happened to the old Hurts, you know? The one who could just take off at any moment and leave defenders grasping at air 💨 But now it seems like he's playing it way too safe, and I get why - injuries are a major concern for him, but it's like he's selling himself short 🤷‍♂️

I mean, 3.8 designed rush attempts per game in the playoffs is still not enough, if you ask me 💪 We need to see more aggression from our QB, especially when we're facing teams that are gonna try and shut him down 🚫 Can't he just be a little bit reckless sometimes? 😂 I know it's easy for us fans to say that, but come on, Hurts! Show us what you're capable of! 🔥
