I'm not sure if Jalen Hurts can go back to his rushing days anytime soon
. I mean, he's been playing it safe with designed runs and that's helped him avoid injuries, but it also means defenses are focusing on stopping him in the pocket rather than getting caught up in potential carries. That being said, he did average 3.8 rushes per game in the playoffs last season, so maybe we'll see a bit more aggression from him this time around
.
But, to be honest, I don't think it's going to be a huge jump in rushing yards for Hurts in the playoffs. He's been playing with a more experienced team and his role might not require as much of that thing he does so well: scrambling for first downs
. Still, I'm rooting for him to find some success on the ground and help the Eagles take it to the next level
