A 26-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were fatally and injured, respectively, in a violent shooting incident in Auburn Gresham yesterday afternoon. According to police, the victims were shot while inside a vehicle parked at approximately 1:25 p.m. on South May Street. The car struck an SUV as it sped away from the scene.
The woman, who was shot multiple times, tragically succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at Little Company of Mary Medical Center. In stark contrast, the male victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries but was transported to Christ Medical Center in stable condition.
