A US citizen has been shot and killed by federal agents in Minneapolis for the second time this month, according to reports. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning in a residential area of the city.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was reportedly shot by agents from the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit. It is unclear what prompted the agents to fire their weapons.
This latest shooting comes as tensions between law enforcement and African American communities continue to simmer across the US.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, a giant Kermit the Frog statue has found a new home in Atlanta, Georgia. The 12-foot-tall sculpture was originally installed outside the Muppet Theatre in Los Angeles but was relocated to Atlanta after being damaged by vandals.
