Is Philadelphia an undesirable location for an offensive coordinator?

🤔 I think Philly's rep is a double-edged sword - on one hand, it demands excellence from players/coaches, but that can be intimidating for top talent. On the other hand, the city's passion for sports is unmatched, and it seems to have attracted some all-time greats like Harper 🌴. Perhaps the Eagles could focus on showcasing the team's culture and support system, rather than its reputation as a tough place to coach? That might help attract top OCs who are willing to put up with the pressure 😊.

idk about philly being too much of a turn-off for coaches lol 🤔 they say that but is it true? i mean, like, what's the worst that could happen? losing one game and getting roasted by fans? 🚫 i'm not buying it. maybe they're just worried about being held to high standards or something? 😒 and yeah, harper's signing does seem weird, but wasn't he like a superstar already? wouldn't be hard to get him in here 🤷‍♂️ anyway, seems like the city rep is more of a myth than reality.

🤔 the city's reputation is like a double-edged sword 🗡️ - some ppl r deterred by it, while others thrive under the pressure ⚡️ gotta find a balance between demanding excellence & supporting coaches 💼 bryce harper proved that with his 13-yr contract 😎

ugh i feel u!! 🤯 the eagles rep is no joke! some ppl think its all about being part of die hard fanbase, but its more than that. its about being able to coach without being screamed at 24/7 or having ur players walk out on u because they cant take it anymore 😩 i mean bc harper chose philly over cali and he's a superstar, what does that say? 🤔

🤔 Philly fans can be pretty intense, you know? I mean, it's great that they're passionate about their team, but sometimes it feels like they're more focused on tearing people down than supporting them. Like, Ross Tucker said that coaches are hesitant to take the OC role because of how Philly treats its players - and honestly, that doesn't sound so good. 🤕 But at the same time, Bryce Harper took a chance on the Phillies despite being from Cali, which is like, totally not the same vibe as Philly. Maybe they just know their worth? 💸 And what's up with Eric Lindros and Scott Rolen leaving the team? Did Philly just not want to keep them? 🤷‍♂️ Anyway, I think the Eagles need to figure out a way to make their coaching job more appealing - like, offer some perks or something. That might help attract top talent instead of scaring them off. 💼

I feel like this is a cycle we've been in before 🤯 Philly's rep is always gonna be a tough sell, but it's interesting that coaches who do join are having success... I mean, Patullo got canned after one bad game and you're still seeing guys like Riley Ridley coming in as a rookie WR? 😂 Like, isn't that kinda a sign that the system works or something?

And can we talk about Bryce Harper for a sec? 🤔 Dude signs a 13-year deal with the Phillies just to get away from Cali, but Philly's rep is supposedly so bad he'd take it over LA? That's some next-level loyalty right there. 💯 Maybe instead of trying to change the rep, we should be celebrating it as part of what makes this team special?

Also, Eric Lindros and Scott Rolen demanding trades out of Philly... 🤷‍♂️ Like, those guys were ballers, but still. It's not like they had a ton of options at the time. Now we're seeing younger players coming in and taking it like champs. Maybe this rep thing is just about being part of an organization that values winning, not just individual success? 🤔
