NYT Pips Today: Hints, Answers And Solutions For Thursday, January 22

When Duty Calls: Conquering Thursday's Pips Puzzle

It's Thursday, and I'm running on fumes after a morning of intense hot yoga and personal training. All I want to do is curl up with a nap, but there's a puzzle waiting for me - the daily Pips challenge. Let's get started.

For those new to Pips, the game involves a grid filled with multicolored boxes representing different conditions that must be met. Players have a limited number of dominoes to fill in the grid, and each domino can only fit in one specific spot. The goal is to use every domino without fail and meet every condition.

The Easy tier puzzle was relatively straightforward, but the Medium difficulty puzzle proved to be a bit more challenging. It requires a combination of logical thinking and spatial reasoning to figure out how to fit the dominoes together. Fortunately, there's only one correct solution for each tier.

Now it's time to move on to the Hard tier puzzle, which is where things get really tricky. This puzzle takes trial and error to solve, but with patience and persistence, you can crack it. The starting point is crucial - using up your dominoes efficiently right from the beginning will make all the difference.

To beat today's hard Pips, start by placing a 0/4 domino in the Purple < 2 group, followed by another 0/3 domino into the Pink 9 group. Next, place a 6/5 domino from Pink 9 up into Dark Blue = and a 5/3 domino from Dark Blue = into Orange =.

Then, add a 4/4 domino to Purple = and a 4/3 domino down from Purple = into Orange -. Place the 6/6 domino in the bottom two tiles of Green > 16. Finally, fit a 6/3 domino from Green > 16 into Orange - and a 4/5 domino from the free tile into Pink > 4.

That's it! With these steps, you should be able to solve today's Pips puzzle. Remember, practice makes perfect, so don't get discouraged if you need a few tries to figure it out.

Sounds like Thursday is gonna be a brain-twister 🀯. I'm not too familiar with this Pips game, but it seems like it requires a good mix of logic and spatial awareness πŸ€”. The steps for the hard tier puzzle look pretty specific, so if you follow them carefully, you should be able to crack it πŸ”“. One thing that's got me curious is what kind of dominoes are we talking about here - are they like regular playing cards or something else entirely? πŸ’‘

OMG u guys 🀯 I just tried that pip puzzle 4 thursday 1st time & it was soooo hard!!! πŸ˜… but after watching the vid u posted i followed the steps & guess what? I SOLVED IT πŸ’₯πŸŽ‰ all thanks 2 ur patience & explanation πŸ™πŸΌ I feel like I need a nap now tho 😴 coz my brain hurts from all that thinkin πŸ€―πŸ’‘

Ugh, Thursday already 🀯. I don't get why we need another puzzle to solve. Can't we just have a chill day instead of trying to fit dominoes together? I mean, I like a challenge or two, but this Pips thing is just too much for me πŸ™„.

And what's with all the different colors and symbols? It's like they're trying to confuse us on purpose. I swear, every time I think I've got it figured out, I realize I need to start all over again 😩.

I'm not saying it's impossible to solve, but for me, it's just too frustrating. And don't even get me started on the trial and error part πŸ€ͺ. Can't we just have a straightforward solution or something?

Thursday is literally the worst, right? I mean, who needs that much excitement with a hot yoga and personal training session to get through? πŸ‹οΈβ€β™€οΈπŸ’¨ And then you gotta sit down and solve a puzzle... Pips, yeah, I've heard of it, sounds like just another way to torture ourselves on the internet πŸ˜’.

But for real though, it's actually kinda cool how the game requires both logic and spatial reasoning. Reminds me of those times when I'm trying to plan out my day, week, or month... so many factors to consider, but if you can break it down into smaller steps, you'll get there πŸ’‘.

The hard tier puzzle does seem daunting, though 🀯. It's like that one friend who just won't give up, and you're like "okay, I feel ya" πŸ˜…. But hey, at least the solution is out there, and with patience, persistence, and a few tries, anyone can conquer it πŸ”₯.

I'm not exactly sure why anyone would voluntarily spend their Thursday morning doing a Pips puzzle πŸ˜’. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's cool if you're into that sorta thing, but is it really necessary to start the day with a brain twister? Can't we just sleep in and deal with the world afterwards? 🀯

Thursday blues are the worst 😴. I've been there too, after a morning of intense exercise. But hey, puzzles like Pips can be a great way to clear your mind and have some fun. The key is to stay focused and think logically... or at least, that's what it feels like when you're trying to solve one! πŸ‘
