the US isn't exactly in the best shape right now to host a massive global event 
ticket prices are already sky-high for local fans, and cities are getting strained by the costs 
plus there's all this violence and unrest going on that's just not good vibes 
it's cool that ppl are considering boycotting or moving it elsewhere 
cuz if the US can't host with integrity then maybe some other country should take the reins 
omg u guys i just read this article about the US hosting the 2026 world cup and i'm low-key surprised it's still happening 
like, we all know our country is in a mess right now with gun violence & police brutality but i guess soccer wins out 
i mean, i love soccer too but come on, can't we prioritize our citizens' safety & well-being over some sports event? i feel like it's so easy to get caught up in the hype of the tournament but we gotta be real about what's really going on here. and btw have u seen those prices for tickets?! 
it's like they're sucking all the money outta the pockets of regular folks just so big corporations can make a profit i don't know, maybe it's time for us to take a step back & reevaluate what we value more: national pride or human rights?
