. want to stay on top of what's happening in the UK without having to scroll through social media all day 
. plus, getting personalized updates is always a bonus! 
Still, I guess it's kinda cool that they're offering it for free and letting us invite our friends to join in on the conversation. The ads might be a bit annoying, but I'm sure they'll be fine. I've seen those charity ads before too... they always seem so convincing! 
but if I had to get my news fix, I'd wanna get it straight to my inbox

Plus, ads in the newsletter? That kinda defeats the purpose of getting unbiased info... maybe they could stick those ads on their actual site instead? 
... Can't they just make it easy to opt-out from ads without making a whole thing out of it? I mean, who doesn't want to read about the day's top news stories with some added value, right? But noooo, they gotta go and tell you that your data is being collected and used for "enhancing your experience". Like, what does that even mean? Are they gonna send me personalized ads based on my interests or something? 
. but then they mention ads and third-party content? that's kinda weird. i'm not against a little advertising, but it feels like they're trying to nickel & dime us.
... or should I say, how much more are they gonna nickel-and-dime us? 
. And don't even get me started on the reCaptcha - like we can't trust our own security by now

hope it's not too spammy with ads tho, don't wanna have to scroll through a bunch of ads just to get my daily dose of news
