Tight spot: cheapest spray takes first place in Choice stain remover test

Austrian Supermarket's Budget-Friendly Stain Remover Takes Top Spot in Consumer Test.

Aldi Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser With Enzymes has taken the top spot in Choice's recent stain remover test, beating out more expensive brands like Sard and Coles. This affordable option, which retails for 28 cents per 100ml or $2.09 a bottle, scored an impressive 78% overall.

In the pre-treater spray category, Aldi's product was neck and neck with Sard Super Power Stain Remover Toughest Stains, both achieving a score of 78%. However, Sard came out on top in certain tests, such as removing blood stains.

The Sard spray, which costs $8 a bottle or $1.90 for 100ml, offered better results in some tests but also carried a higher price tag. Choice senior product officer Chris Barnes stated that consumers on a budget have little reason to justify spending more on the pricier Sard spray when an Aldi option is available at a fraction of the cost.

Supermarket sprays were among the top-performing products in the test, with Aldi's Di-San Pro Oxy With Enzymes coming in third and Coles Ultra Pre-wash Stain Remover and Woolworths Clean Ultimate Oil & Grime With Enzymes Pre-wash Stain Remover also scoring well.

OMG, 28 cents for a stain remover?! ๐Ÿคฏ That's insane! I was expecting Sard to win for sure but Aldi came out on top? ๐Ÿ™Œ I mean, who needs all those fancy features and expensive prices when it works just as good? ๐Ÿ’ธ Choice is totally right, if you're on a budget, Aldi is the way to go. ๐Ÿ’ฐ And yeah, $8 for Sard is just too much! ๐Ÿ˜… The fact that it only beat out Aldi in blood stain removal tests is not enough to justify the price difference. ๐Ÿ‘Ž I'm definitely stocking up on Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser With Enzymes, it's a total game-changer for my cleaning routine! ๐Ÿ’ช

idk why people would pay like 8 bucks for a stain remover when u can get an Aldi one for less than 3 bucks ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ, it just doesn't make sense to me, especially if the cheaper option does a similar job ๐Ÿ’ธ, i mean, choice did say that consumers on a budget have no reason to splurge, lol pretty straightforward there ๐Ÿ‘

OMG, like I remember when stain removers were super expensive and we had to break out the good stuff, you know? ๐Ÿ™…โ€โ™‚๏ธ Like, my mom used to pay an arm and a leg for something that'd actually work... and now Aldi's got this budget-friendly option that's killing it! ๐Ÿ’ธ 28 cents per 100ml is insane! I mean, who needs fancy-schmancy brands when you can get the job done for pennies? ๐Ÿ˜‚ And I love that Choice said consumers shouldn't feel pressured to spend more just 'cause Sard's got a fancier label... priorities, people! ๐Ÿคฃ

I think it's pretty cool that the most affordable option, Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser With Enzymes, took the top spot in this test! ๐Ÿคฉ I've been using it for a bit now and it really works well - the fact that it's only 28 cents per 100ml is insane! ๐Ÿ’ธ It's great to see Aldi offering such a good product at such a low price. And Chris Barnes from Choice making sense, saying people on a budget shouldn't have to pay more for something when they can get a similar product for a fraction of the cost. ๐Ÿค

omg u guyz i'm literally so hyped about this! Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser With Enzymes is a GAME CHANGER!! 28 cents per 100ml is insane!!! I mean, who needs to pay $8 for Sard when u can get the same results for like pennies?! Chris Barnes is a genius for saying that consumers on a budget have no reason to splurge on pricier brands lolol. And i'm not surprised it came out on top in so many tests, enzymes are life!!! ๐Ÿคฏ๐Ÿ’ช

I dunno about this one... sounds like Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser is a total game-changer for stain remover. Like, 78% overall score? That's crazy! I mean, it's not just the price that's winning over consumers - it's actually performing really well in tests too. But at the same time, you can't deny that Sard's Super Power Stain Remover is giving it a run for its money, especially when it comes to tougher stains like blood... ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿงน๐Ÿ’ช

๐Ÿค” just saying, gotta love the value for money that Aldi's offering. 28 cents for a stain remover? That's crazy! ๐Ÿ‘€ I mean, you get what you pay for, but in this case, it seems like you're getting an amazing deal. ๐Ÿ’ธ The fact that Sard's product is still beating it out on blood stains is impressive, but let's be real, most people aren't dealing with those kinds of stains all the time ๐Ÿ˜‚. Aldi's just showing us that sometimes, simple and affordable doesn't have to mean basic. ๐Ÿ‘

I gotta say, I'm loving the budget-friendliness of Aldi's stain remover ๐Ÿ’ธ! 28 cents a bottle is insane, like who even pays that much for stuff? ๐Ÿ˜‚ It's amazing to see it outperforming those pricier brands in the test. I mean, if you're not broke, why bother paying $8 for something when you can get a near-as-damn-equivalent product for pennies on the dollar? ๐Ÿค‘ That Chris Barnes dude is spot on - budget-conscious shoppers have no reason to shell out extra cash. The fact that it's even beating out those supermarket brands is just icing on the cake! ๐Ÿ‘

I donโ€™t usually comment but I just saw that Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser With Enzymes is killing it in the stain remover test ๐Ÿคฏ. 28 cents per 100ml is crazy cheap! I've used Sard spray before and it works okay, but for half the price? No way, I'm giving this a try next time I need to get some tough stains out ๐Ÿ’ช. It's good to know that Choice has been testing these products and it's nice to see someone on a budget can get a good deal. Can't complain about saving money and still getting a decent product ๐Ÿ˜Š

Ugh, I'm so over the price difference on those stain removers ๐Ÿ™„. It's crazy that some of these more expensive brands think we need to pay $8 for something that Aldi's can do just as good for like, a quarter of the cost ๐Ÿ’ธ. I mean, who has the money to splurge on that when you've got a budget-friendly option right in front of you? It's all about being realistic and prioritizing your spending ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ.

omg u guys i just read this on the news & im lowkey shocked that aldis stain remover took 1st place ๐Ÿคฏ i mean its only 28 cents for a 100ml bottle!!! i was expecting it to be super cheap but not like that cheap lol. and its got enzymes which is like a major pro in my book. i think this is def a game changer for people who are on a budget & dont wanna spend $$$ on stain remover. i mean why would u? theres this awesome option thats affordable & gets the job done ๐Ÿ˜‚

can't believe how much money these brands are charging for stain removers, 28 cents is insane ๐Ÿค‘, people gotta think twice before splurging on those fancy brands when you can get a decent one from Aldi ๐Ÿ‘Œ

I'm so surprised the pricier Sard spray didn't take top spot, to be honest ๐Ÿค”. I mean, you get what you pay for right? But at the same time, Aldi's budget-friendly option is bloody brilliant ๐Ÿ’ธ. 28 cents per bottle? That's insane! I've been using it for ages and it works a treat. I don't see why anyone would shell out $8 or more when you can get similar results for pennies ๐Ÿค‘. Maybe people just feel like they're getting a better product because of the name recognition, but honestly, Aldi's got this one right ๐Ÿ‘

I mean, think about it... 28 cents for a bottle of stain remover? It's crazy how something as mundane as cleaning can be made accessible to everyone. But at the same time, is it really about just having an affordable option or are we settling for mediocrity? I guess what Choice's test really shows us is that when you're on a tight budget, you have to weigh your priorities - do you splurge on something that might not make a huge difference but feels like a luxury, or do you go for the bare minimum and still get the job done?

It's also interesting how this test reflects our society's values. We're willing to pay more money if it means getting better results, but is there a point of diminishing returns? Can we really justify spending more just because we want the best? For me, this test raises questions about what we value in life - convenience, performance, or something else entirely? ๐Ÿค”

Ugh, another budget-friendly fad ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ! I mean, I'm happy for Aldi and all, but is this really what's trending these days? A stain remover that costs like 28 cents?! That's crazy cheap ๐Ÿค‘. Don't get me wrong, it's awesome that people on a tight budget can finally find something that works, but are we missing out on some high-quality stuff because of the price point? And I'm not even gonna get started on the environmental impact of all these single-use bottles ๐Ÿ’ฆ...anyway, gotta give credit where credit is due, Aldi's product did come in top spot, but let's see how long it stays that way ๐Ÿค”.

I'm surprised by the results of this test, but I guess you can't put a price on efficiency ๐Ÿค‘. It's interesting to see that a budget-friendly option like Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser With Enzymes outperformed more expensive brands in terms of overall score. The fact that it was able to achieve a score of 78% without breaking the bank is definitely a selling point for consumers on a tight budget ๐Ÿ’ธ. It's also notable that even though Sard's spray had some advantages, like removing blood stains, it didn't quite outweigh the cost difference ๐Ÿค”. Overall, I think this test highlights the importance of considering value when making purchasing decisions ๐Ÿ“ˆ.

omg, who needs fancy-schmancy stain removers when you can get one for 28 cents a bottle? ๐Ÿค‘ like, what's the point of paying $8 for something that's only marginally better than the cheap stuff? it's all about priorities, folks! also, i'm living for the fact that Aldi is slaying the game with their budget-friendly options. it's not like we need some fancy-sold-out brand telling us to break the bank just to clean our clothes ๐Ÿ˜’

๐Ÿคฏ I'm loving this, a budget-friendly stain remover from Aldi takes the top spot! 28 cents per 100ml? Mind blown! I've tried that stuff before and it actually works pretty well ๐Ÿค“. I'm not surprised it beat out those more expensive brands, Aldi's always been about being frugal without sacrificing quality ๐Ÿ’ธ. But what really got me was Chris Barnes saying consumers on a budget shouldn't feel like they need to break the bank for better stain removers... yep, same here! Who needs that extra cash when you can get the job done for pennies? ๐Ÿ˜‚

aww man i can imagine how frustrating it must be to deal with tough stains on clothes ๐Ÿ˜ฉ but yay for affordable solutions like Aldi's Di-San Pro Ultra Degreaser! 28 cents per 100ml is just crazy cheap ๐Ÿค‘ and it's awesome that it performed so well in the test. I mean, who doesn't want a good stain remover without breaking the bank? ๐Ÿ’ธ the fact that it even outperformed some of those pricier options like Sard is just amazing ๐Ÿ˜ฎ
